Outside Hitter for the 16-Black
Anna is the epitome of positive energy and enthusiasm. She’s always smiling and encouraging her teammates to succeed. Last weekend at the Crossfire tournament she was one of the keys to the 16-Black team winning the consolation bracket (even though the amazing 15-Black team took a game off of them). Her ball control and hitting are two other highlights of her game. Keep it up Anna!

Courtney is a tireless worker and comes revved up to play every time she hits the court. She shows up early, has a great attitude, and is always looking to improve. If you ever get a chance to watch her you’ll notice her superb technique and hunger on defense, definitely fun to see.

Setter for the 17-Black
Kendra’s leadership skills and playing ability really shined through this past weekend. Being a setter is a difficult position because you’re at the mercy of the passes being given to you. Kendra did a fantastic job putting her hitters in good positions to terminate balls while staying positive and encouraging in every situation. On top of that she had an awesome weekend serving.

DS for the 13-Pink
Kendra always has a phenomenal attitude and is ready to go whenever she hits the court. Watching her play, you wouldn’t be able to tell if the team was winning or losing because she plays hard the entire time. She loves coming early to the gym and working on her game. Although she’s the youngest player in the club she’s got a big girl work ethic as she loves coming early to practices to work on her game.

Lib for the 17 Black
Patrice stepped it up this weekend with unstoppable defense. She was all over the court with a relentless pursuit of the ball. There was never a ball too far or too fast for her. The energy she exuded was contagious. Not only did she lead through her play but also through her encouragement and communication. Rumor has it that she works so hard her toenails fall off!

Taylor was extremely instrumental in the 14 Black’s strong finish over Presidents Day festival. Her leadership on and off the floor, strong serving,
and willingness to do whatever it took to win really led the team. She always has a great attitude with her teammates, doesn't try to draw attention to herself, and leads by example as one of the team’s Captains. Taylor has done a fabulous job improving and staying focused this season.

Abby is such a fantastic player and person. She really shined at this past weekend’s Mankato tournament where the 15 Black team placed 2nd overall in the 16’s division out of 16 teams. Her serving has become a consistent weapon and she leaves everything she has on the court as the team’s setter. Abby is one of those players that is ultra-coachable and always is looking to improve. If you get a chance to watch her play you’ll definitely leave with a big smile.

OH for the 16-Pink
Karli has been doing a fantastic job this season improving her game and helping her team. She did an awesome job digging, serving and hitting this past weekend at the NL Power League. Karli was the team’s leading scorer and kept a great attitude all day long. Her coaches were gushing with superlatives for the way she played.

Abby G has been improving every time she has hit the court. Her super consistent serve helped the team score points in bunches at the Odd Cup. Abby has also sharpened her hitting and defense tremendously this season. She’s got a great smile and loves to have fun.
